Welcome – A Journey Through Sound and Time
Welcome to my blog. I am excited to share this journey with you.
Music has always been a big part of my life, and through this blog, I will take you behind the scenes – both with a review of my past work and a glimpse into my current process.
How is my music shaped today? What thoughts, experiences, and sonic experiments influence my journey?
A Musical Diary and an Invitation
Practically speaking, I need to create an overview of my compositions over time, while also promoting my current work. Therefore, this blog serves both as a musical diary and an open invitation to follow along.
I will delve into my archives, reflect along the way, and share my thoughts on sound, moods, and the connections between cultures and languages. Sonic shifts, alternative playing techniques, and inspiration from my Greenlandic heritage are elements that often characterise my music.
What Can You Expect?
On this blog, I will share short texts, images from my work, and perhaps the occasional audio clip. It will be a quiet and steady journey, with time for reflection – a way to gather the threads and explore new directions.
My musical direction is a niche, and I would love to hear from those interested – composers, musicians, orchestras, ensembles, and others who wish to collaborate or exchange ideas.
A Dream to Share with the World
At the same time, my big dream is to have more of my work recorded and released – both the past and the brand new. I want to contribute to spreading newly composed Greenlandic sheet music and share it with a larger audience.
